Could you introduce yourselves and tell us about your respective backgrounds, and how you came to create Rubinex?
Awatif:
I am Awatif, co-founder of Rubinex and a dedicated entrepreneur. We created Rubinex as a continuation of our solidarity efforts, carried out through the Péron Solidaire association during the COVID-19 crisis.
What inspired you to create Rubinex ? Was there a particular moment or an obvious need that triggered triggered this project?
Samir:
“At the height of the health crisis, I observed the limitations of traditional masks. The turning point came when I was picking up my children from school and realized I couldn’t even recognize them behind their opaque masks.
That’s when I envisioned a device capable of providing effective protection while keeping the face visible.”
Can you explain
what the MRX mask is and why you
designed it the way you did?
Samir:
“The MRX mask is, above all, a respiratory protection device designed to be transparent, flexible, and comfortable. Unlike disposable surgical masks, it protects both the wearer and those around them, thanks to its airtight seal and efficient filtration system.
We took on a real technological challenge to combine the qualities of a high-performance mask with ecological and economic benefits, as well as simplified use, making it easy for everyone to adopt.”
How does MRX differ from traditional masks disposable or reusable masks?
Samir:
“Three elements make it unique. First, its transparency, which preserves facial expressions and facilitates communication.
Second, its durability: it is a reusable and eco-designed mask, built to last.
Finally, its flexibility, which ensures a comfortable fit and optimal daily wear.”
